 Elemental Forms
I’m a potter/ ceramics artist living in
Lake Havasu City, AZ.
My work includes functional ware such as bowls, pitchers and serving
dishes.
Other pieces fall into the categories of RAKU, pitfired pottery and other art pieces.
I’m a member of the Havasu Art Guild and participate in several Guild events during the year. Many of my pieces incorporate stone-specimens which I’ve collected in the nearby desert, and have cut & polished. I sometimes wirewrap the stones or beadwrap them.
I moved to Havasu in 2003, having retired from a career as a Speech Pathologist in California. My background also includes training in a variety of art techniques:
Ceramics/pottery watercolor acrylic painting
Textiles / weaving paper-art
I have also taught paper-making , batik, puppet-making, and ceramics to public school students and teachers in workshops.
